TabCloud: Save and Restore Window Sessions Across Multiple Computers
TabCloud is a free Chrome add-on developed by Connor Dunn that allows users to save and restore window sessions over time and across multiple computers. This handy tool effectively syncs open tabs between different devices, making it convenient for users who work on multiple computers.
Using TabCloud is simple and straightforward. By clicking on the TabCloud icon in the menu, users can view their current open windows as well as previously saved windows. They have the option to save open windows or restore saved ones. Additionally, users can delete previously saved windows if needed.
TabCloud offers several additional features to enhance the browsing experience. Middle-clicking (or using the Ctrl key) on any tab icon opens that specific tab, allowing for quick access. Clicking on an open tab icon jumps directly to that tab in the browser. Users can also drag tab icons to move tabs between windows, including saved windows that are not currently open.
For added security, TabCloud provides a secure login using a Google account. Users can easily log out from the TabCloud menu if desired. Furthermore, users have the flexibility to rename windows at any time by simply clicking on the window's name.
